Hammster Wheel uses Digidesign's Digi003 and Pro Tools LE 7.4, to provide digital multi-track recording of bands or solo artists.  Pro Tools LE allows us to record your music, while maintaining compatibility with the popular Pro Tools software found in most major studios.   Track your instruments at Hammster Wheel, and you can still take your project to most studios for mix-down and mastering.

We have also recently added CakeWalk Sonar 7 - Professional Edition software to our system, enhancing our MIDI and digital audio recording capabilities.     While not as directly compatible with Pro Tools, the tracks can be saved in a format allowing them to be imported into Pro Tools (if necessary).

Hammster Wheel has "out board" effect units for integration into both digital and analog recordings.

Hammster Wheel is equipped with multiple microphones and direct boxes, as well as effect units.    With digital recordings, "plug ins" are available to add effects to individual tracks.   Hammster Wheel has standard electric guitars and bass guitars available for use, as well as Roland V-Drums digital drums.   We can provide musicians to assist, if desired.

Hammster Wheel has a stereo mini-disc digital recorder for remote stereo recording.   This is handy for capturing that live performance, and then bringing it back to the studio for burning to a standard CD.    This is sometimes of interest to artists looking to capture a live performance for release.

Hammster Wheel still has the cassette system, if you prefer a bit of "old school" home studio work.   Although this may not be the trend, this option can be useful for remote recording.
