Neal Morse Concert - 2004
Neal
Morse Concert - In Retrospect - Reviews, Pictures, and other
feedback
On October 2, 2004, Hammster Wheel was proud to host
the first Michigan solo concert from Neal
Morse.
Neal is the former member of
progressive rock groups Spock's Beard and
Transatlantic. Neal has been voted one
of CCM Magazine's breakout artists of 2004! England's
Classic Rock magazine announced their list of the 100
Greatest Frontmen of Rock. Neal was one of the only indie
artists in the list, which covers the entire history of
rock up to the present. Anyone who has seen Neal live
won't be surprised, of course. More info on Neal can
be found at www.nealmorse.com
Hammster Wheel would like to thank all those who
attended the show, and all the volunteers who helped make
the event run smoothly. We hope to work with
you again, soon. A special thanks to
Neal for making it all possible.

Here's some of the comments that have been posted:
“I can honestly say that my life has changed after this
concert... I've always been pretty serious about believing
in god, and Christianity, having grown up catholic, but
recently that’s slipped away... But not anymore,, this
concert has changed me for the better, and I can feel
something growing inside. Thank You Neal for sparking that
up... Thanks Once again to everybody that made this night
a success. I'll remember it forever.”
“Anyways,
I came out of that concert a new man and thinking of
things deeply and differently. I think we all did. and I
am glad that I have started to pray two months ago. I have
accepted finally that god is here in my life and I welcome
him and all that he says to me. That night, I felt like he
really was speaking to me that he hasn't given up on me
and that he is here to be my friend as always. I have been
on cloud 100 ever since.
All in all, a great and awesome evening. The best
concert I have ever seen.”
“My thanks to the guys that made it happen and to the
pastor who allowed the show to be held in his church. It
was without a doubt the smallest crowd I've even been part
of for a musical event, but that's not a complaint. It was
an intimate gathering, well organized and run by folks who
obviously loved the music.”
