What's new at the Hammster Wheel?    

Our video editing capabilities are now anchored by Sony Media's Vegas Pro product.   Not only does this allow various editing options, but also provides for numerous audio and video effect processing.

Audio upgrades have been done to our Cakewalk software (we still have Pro Tools LE 8 at "home base").    We now are running Sonar 8 Producer Edition, and have this partnered with an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra interface.   This combination offers our most portable option yet for multi-track recording.    If you are looking for us to come to your location for some tracking sessions, let us know and we can bring this along.    With the recent advancements in file compatibility, we can either port these tracks into our Pro Tools system back at "home base", or we can continue working within Sonar.    Your choice.

We have recently completed a mastering project for Adam Parmenter, and his "The Treasure" solo release.    This is targeted for a late August 2009 release, and we will be providing additional details on how to get your own copy.    

Final edits are being completed on dete tilma's latest project, with hopes for this to be available by end of the summer.    This has been a long time coming, but will be worth it.

We have started work on doing some 24-bit remastering of the first two releases from Christian metal/punk band Rude Awakening.    This will be something only available via Hammster Wheel distribution, so look for that coming soon.

Finally, that leads to our announcement of a new distribution/store page.   Some may remember our Hammonline venture included a store with various discount CDs.    However, this new Hammster Wheel store will only feature products we have a direct involvement or partnership with.     These will be releases we strongly support and will do what we can to build exposure.   Look for this in the coming weeks.
